Crocaii means ‘seagull’ in the dialect of the Venice region of Italy, where my mother comes from. They are my inspiration for spaces with resilience, resourcefulness and dreaming high – no matter where you start from.
About me
Italian by birth, I am passionate of spatial organization, human interactions and sustainability – in and out of the home.
I am inspired by Nature and cultures. I have lived and experienced life across the globe, from India, to Mexico and various countries across Europe. Nature is so simple yet complex and fuels our existence with magic. I find fascinating how people -across the globe and throughout history - found solutions to their problems and expressed themselves through creativity.
I hold a diploma of interior design from the Interior Design institute.
Currently, I am undertaking advanced studies in landscape, kitchens, bathrooms and commercial spaces design. I am also studying in a bachelor of design at the BAID & Chester University.
Prior to Crocaii Studio, I graduated in a bachelor & master in Economics and Social Sciences and worked as Program Manager, skills that I bring to my design practice.
In my free time I enjoy gardening and spending time with my dogs.
Walking in nature or sitting by a body of water is how I recharge and recenter.
My Qualifications
I hold a diploma of Interior Design from The Interior Design Institute (IDI) and have worked with institutions such as paint and design shop Templeogue Decor & event planning and crafting H&G creations.
I am currently taking advanced studies in Landscape Design, Kitchen & Bathroom Planning and Commercial Design.
I am further studying in a bachelor degree in Interior Design offered by The British Academy of Interior Design (BAID).
I am a student member of The Interiors Association (IA)
